Hand-built stories from the studio
My name is Ewelina Mruk-Drianska, but everyone calls me Eve. I began my journey with ceramics at art high school in Poland, where I first discovered the joy of working with clay. To further develop my skills, I moved to England and in 2010 graduated from Staffordshire University, focusing on ceramics.
Today, I work in my small home garage studio in Stourport-on-Severn, where I create ceramics in small batches. Each piece is handmade – shaped, glazed, and fired with attention to detail. Many of my glazes are mixed by me using natural raw materials, which ensures unique, one-of-a-kind results.
My work includes functional pieces, such as cups, bowls, and dishes, as well as decorative items: wall plates, clocks, mirrors, figurines (like angels), and other nature-inspired decor. Recently, I have also started creating wedding and personalized items, including heart-shaped keepsakes with names and dates, wedding frames, and small personalized gifts.
I believe ceramics can be more than just functional – they add warmth, character, and a touch of art to everyday life.
Process
Every form is hand-built without a wheel, then kiln-fired at home in Stourport-on-Severn. Slow batches allow time for thoughtful glazing and finishing.
